THUNDER BAY — Police have made an arrest in connection with the armed robbery of a business in the 500 block of Beverly Street.
The June 19 incident saw a woman enter a business in the Academy Heights area while armed with a knife.
After brandishing the weapon towards employees she fled with some merchandise.
Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service break and enter and robbery unit began an investigation and were able to learn the identity of a suspect who was located and arrested on Friday.
The 29-year-old woman is charged with robbery with a weapon and with breach of probation.
She appeared before a judge and was remanded into custody with a date for another court appearance.
