Woman robs Mac’s with knife, police arrest suspect Monday morning

THUNDER BAY – City police have arrested a woman accused of robbing a convenience store with a knife. Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the woman robbed a Mac’s store at 1315 Arthur Street at about 7:48 a.m. Monday.

THUNDER BAY – City police have arrested a woman accused of robbing a convenience store with a knife.

Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the woman robbed a Mac’s store at 1315 Arthur Street at about 7:48 a.m. Monday.

Uniform officers were dispatched to investigate.

Those officers found a woman matching the description of the robber in the 100 block of May Street South a short time later.

The 24-year-old woman from Thunder Bay was arrested without incident and charged with robbery.

Her first court appearance is set for Tuesday and police say they will release her name following that appearance.
