The repairs continue on the James Street swing bridge, this time in the southboud lane.
But motorists won't have to wait too long for the bridge to reopen.
The aging swing bridge is being repaired by CN Rail. The northbound lane was closed for two days earlier this week. Rotted support beams are being replaced, and old bolts are being removed.
The upgrades are expected to improve driving conditions on the bridge.
Workers at the scene estimated there is at least one more day of work to do until the bridge will be cleared and reopened to motorists.
