Members of Thunder Bay's Shift Young Professionals Network gathered at the Travelodge Airlane Thursday evening, expressing their ideas on the direction the city is going.

A number of city council members were also in attendance, including Mayor Keith Hobbs.

Participants were split into four groups, dealing with topics including the economy, environment, quality of life and governance.

Shift vice-president Michael Nitz said the response from the city has been nothing but positive.

Nitz added that the information gathered will be compiled into a document that will be given to city council for consideration in the next strategic plan.
