Dan Harris,33, and Elaine Michaud, who was elected at 25-years-old, visited Lakehead University for a meet and greet Thursday afternoon.
The two are part of the NDP's Youth Caucus Post-Secondary Tour.  The party is trying to get youth motivated into the political process by meeting directly with them about issues of importance to young people.

They believe the youth are engaged, but not necessarily in politics.
The federal NDP have 22 MPs under the age of 33.

Harris is also the deputy finance critic and visited Bombardier earlier Thursday morning.
