(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On Sunday, June 19, 2016 officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of mischief that occurred at a construction site in Conacher Township.
The site supervisor attended the location and discovered damage to the site property, an office building, and a piece of heavy equipment (loader). The interior of the office building and the loader had been spray painted and items damaged.
An investigation commenced and subsequently three male youths, all from Thunder Bay, have been arrested and charged with the following offences:
-Break and Enter,
-Mischief Over $5000
One of the youths also has an additional charge of Theft under $5000, all contrary to the Criminal Code. The youths cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act
They are to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on August 11, 2016 to answer to the charges.
