Police arrested four youths suspected of breaking into a north side home while the homeowner was sleeping.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say a Piccadilly Avenue homeowner woke up early Tuesday morning to discover several intruders in his home, removing a variety of items.
The homeowner managed to scare off the thieves and called police.
A search of the area involving the police’s K-9 unit resulted in the arrest of three young males and one female. The four youths have been taken into custody.
Several stolen items were also found in the area.
The identity of the suspects are being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
