In a Thunder Bay courtroom on Tuesday, Michael Hargadon, who was speaking on behalf of Zaitzeff’s attorney, Scott Hutchinson, requested a preliminary hearing for the trial be held on Feb. 21 and 22.

Zaitzeff was first charged on Nov. 21, 2016 with various sexual offences, including sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching under 16, assault, and mischief under $5,000.

All other charges against Zaitzeff will be spoken to in a Thunder Bay courtroom on Dec. 8. A publication ban is in place on details relating to the case.
