Thunder Bay Police Service news release

The Thunder Bay Police Service will be holding a recognition dinner this weekend to connect officers with the citizen members of the Zone Watch program. After two years of running the unique community based policing initiative, some modifications have been made to the website and there has been a redeployment of primary officers to enhance the communication and planning of special projects to deal with crime and safety issues in each particular zone.

The dinner will see approximately 85 individuals come together to look at what the zone watch program has accomplished to date and discuss the future direction of the program. The TBPS will also be recognizing the outstanding work done by many of the citizen members.

The media is welcome to attend for interviews between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, June 14, 2015
