(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Kenora detachment have charged four youths following an early morning break in over the weekend.

THUNDER BAY -- A plan to turn a former high school into condominium got unanimous support from city council Monday night. At around 148,000 square feet the former Hillcrest High School isn't an easy place to convert into 75 condominiums.

According to Statistics Canada, Thunder Bay residents are among the most happy in the country. In a survey released on Monday, people who live in the city on average rated their life satisfaction rate slightly more than 8.

THUNDER BAY – The Lakehead District School Board’s superintendent of education is adamant the Fraser Institute’s rankings do not paint a complete picture of the quality of education offered in city public high schools.

THUNDER BAY -- City police are investigating an assault that left a man with significant injuries. The Thunder Bay Police Service responded to a call around 7:30 a.m.

The OPP say a section of Highway 17 has been closed in both directions west of Thunder Bay. Officials with the OPP say the road has been closed between Raith and Upsala in both directions following a washout.
