Unemployment rate up in August: StatsCan

THUNDER BAY – The jobless rate has risen slightly, according to new numbers from Statistics Canada. The government statistics agency reports that the unemployment rate for the Thunder Bay area was at five per cent in August.

Oil spill all cleaned up: Port
