THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Sportop midget AA Queens are off to Detroit, Mich., this weekend to compete in the first round of 2 Nations College Prep Series play.
Thunder Bay opens up Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. when they take on Team Wisconsin.
Later in the day the Queens will face-off against the St. Louis Lady Blues at 6 p.m.
A pair of Detroit-area squads will provide the opposition for the club Saturday.
They’ll begin by meeting Belle Tire at 8 a.m. before wrapping up round robin competition vs. Little Caesars at 4:30 p.m.
The club will then wrap-up things up Sunday against a yet to be determined opponent.
