Adan takes home Chill's top individual award

Midfielder Pedro Adan has been named the Thunder Bay Chill's most valuable player. Adan was given the award Monday night at the Premier Development League's annual season-ending banquet.

Adan was given the award Monday night at the Premier Development League's annual season-ending banquet.

Swedish import Axel Sjoberg picked up defensive player of the year honours, while Sergio Campano Franco grabbed the rookie-of-the-year trophy.

Sunny Omogerie, another first-year player, took home the top scorer award.

The Chill play the North American Soccer League's Minnesota United FC in a friendly Tuesday night, a tune-up for Saturday afternoon's Central Conference semifinal against either the Michigan Bucks or Chicago Fire.
