Lakehead had to battle back from a pair of two-goal deficits, Billy Jenkins getting the Wolves back on even ground at the 7:27 mark of the third.

Alcock had a pair for LU, his eighth and ninth of the season, with Brennen Dubchak potting his eighth to start the comeback on the power play at th1 12:29 mark of the second.

Nick Halagian, Joey Champigny and Michael Morgan had the Waterloo goals.

Devin Green made 27 saves to pick up the wins, Mike Morrison just 21 in taking the loss.

The two teams play again on Saturday afternoon. Lakehead (11-12-2) needs a single point in its final three games to eliminate Western. With the win they leapfrogged the Warriors into seventh place in the OUA West.
