Veterans Henry Tan and Bacarius Dinkins led the way with 19 points apiece as the basketball Wolves downed the visiting Manitoba Bisons 88-81 at the Thunderdome.

Mor Menashe had 18, rookie Nick Burke chipped in 15 and Alex Robichaud chipped in 12 for Lakehead, who only got five points from their bench, all coming from freshman Tanner Parrington.

Amarjit Basi led the Bisons with 19.

The Thunderwolves and Bisons tip off again on Saturday night.
