Border Cats ink all-star shortstop

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Border Cats have landed Belmont Abbey College shortstop Colin Rosenbaum.

Rosenbaum, a junior, has played 42 games this season and boasts a .291 batting average, to go along with seven home runs, 36 RBIs, and 42 runs scored.

The 6-foot, 195-pound infielder from Thomasville, N.C. was named first-team all-conference and was a Coastal Plain League all-star starter in 2016.

Opening night for the Border Cats June 3, with first pitch scheduled 6:05 p.m.
