ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues defenceman Robert Bortuzzo will be sidelined indefinitely with a lower-body injury.
The Thunder Bay-born Bortuzzo suffered the injury during the third period of Thursday’s shootout loss against the Detroit Red Wings.
The NHL team said he’ll be re-evaluated in 10 days.
Bortuzzo has played in four games in 2016-17 and has not recorded a point. In 170 career games he’s scored seven goals and added 18 points, collecting 250 penalty minutes.
