Chapples Park in Thunder Bay, Ontario will see its first action of the Premier Development League regular season, as the Thunder Bay Chill host the Springfield Demize this week in a two-game series.

Thursday, June 10 at 7:30 p.m. marks the kick-off for the home opener at a renovated Chapples Park. The Chill will look to improve on their 2-1 record, after returning from their season opening road trip last weekend.

The Demize are winless in their first six games of the season with a record of 0-5-1.

Forward Gustavo Oliviera has won the race to return to fitness after picking up an injury against the Rochester Thunder. The Chill will need Oliviera and strike partner Brandon Swartzendruber to continue their impressive play as they look to sweep the weekend series against the Demize.

Thursday's game will be in Support of the Arthritis Society with a portion of the gate going to the charity.

The second game of the series takes place Friday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m.
