THUNDER BAY - A week after an inability to close games left points on the pitch, the Thunder Bay Chill had no problem finishing the job.
The Chill blanked WSA Winnipeg 4-0 on the road Saturday night in their Premier Development League match at the Winnipeg Indoor Soccer Complex, extending the club's unbeaten streak.
Thunder Bay's all-time leading scorer Brandon Swartzendruber netted his first two goals of the campaign, bookending the team's scoring with the first and fourth tallies.
The first came in the sixth minute, establishing Chill control right from the early stages. Sergio Campano Franco and Sean Reynolds also scored for Thunder Bay.
Keeper Daniel Alvarado picked up the clean sheet in his first start of the season.
The Chill (3-0-2) take on Winnipeg (0-5-2) in a rematch on Sunday afternoon with the opening kickoff set for 2:30 p.m.
