Zach Grzelewski was a one-man wrecking crew for the Thunder Bay North Stars.

The rookie forward scored four times Friday night, leading the Stars to a 4-3 road win over the expansion English River Miners.

Grzelewski staked Thunder Bay to a 2-0 lead with a pair of even-strength second-period goals, then, after Ryker Moreau cut the Stars lead in half at the 11:04 mark of the middle stanza, he completed the hat trick at 15:08.

It was his first of two power play goals, the second coming 12 seconds into the third. Daniel Delpaggio and Matthias Gardiman each picked up three assists in the contest.

Grzelewski now has 14 goals and 23 points in 20 Superior International Junior Hockey League games.

Brendan Wilde netted a pair of goals in the third to pull the Miners to within a goal, the second tally coming with 1:45 to go in regulation.

Nathanial Dupuis kicked aside 34 shots to earn the win. Greg Harney made 23 stops in a losing cause.
