Harvey named OUA West all-star, Tan to all-rookie squad

Dwayne Harvey and Henry Tan were Lakehead’s go-to guys all season long, so it comes as no surprised both were honoured Thursday when the OUA announced its West Division all stars.

Dwayne Harvey and Henry Tan were Lakehead’s go-to guys all season long, so it comes as no surprised both were honoured Thursday when the OUA announced its West Division all stars.

Harvey, a fourth-year guard, was named a second-team all-star after putting up 12.8 points a night out the LU back court.

The fourth-year NCAA transfer led the team with four assists, sixth-best in the league, and 2.1 steals a night, fifth-best in the OUA.

Tan, slated to go the NCAA route before a knee injury altered his plans, led the Thunderwolves with 12.9 points a night.
