The Northern Hawks have ridden a four-game winning streak to the gold medal game at the Western Canadian Jr. B Championships.
The Thunder Bay team won both of their Saturday games beating Alberta’s Whitecourt Wolverines 7-4 and Saskatchewan champions Pilot Butte Storm 3-1.
The team will face off against the Abbotsford Pilots at 3 p.m. in Saskatoon. Both teams have a 4-1 record at the tournament.
