They didn’t hit double digits, but the Rochester Honkers still handed the Thunder Bay Border Cats another loss.
Kalei Hanawahine had a triple and drove in five runs Sunday night, leading the Honkers to a 9-6 win as the Cats began a season-ending eight-game home-stand at Subway Field.
Tyler Duplantis had a double and three more RBI for the Cats, raising his single-season team record to 51. Jason Vosler also had a pair of RBI for Thunder Bay, who lost for the fifth straight time and fell to 6-22 in second-half play.
The loss went to Jordan Church (1-6), the win to Logan Spitzack (3-2).
