Local baseball player a standout in NCBA District VI North
October 16, 2014 — Thunder Bay, Ont. Josh Kennedy was named National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) District VI North player of the week for his performance this past weekend in a 3-game series against the University of Minnesota Gophers.

Kennedy was a nightmare for Gopher pitchers this weekend. In the three-game set, Josh went 5-for-11, with and double, home run, six RBIs , four runs scored and two walks to lead Lakehead to two victories.
