Locally the Kings’ minor midget side will see their first action of the 2016-17 campaign as they host the Duluth East Greyhounds under-16 squad in a three-game set at Fort William First Nation Arena.

The two teams will then conclude their series Sunday at 10:15 a.m. back at FWFNA.

Meanwhile the bantam Kings will be on the road to compete in the Sudbury Showcase at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex.

Game action for Kings begins Friday at 7:30 p.m. as they take on the Timmins Eagles.

Saturday’s slate has them hitting the ice twice beginning with an 11 a.m. encounter with the Soo Thunder before finishing up against the host Nickel City Sons at 6 p.m.

The bantams will then conclude their trip to Greater Sudbury Sunday vs. the North Bay Trappers at 10 a.m.
