Lakehead salvages split against Guelph

Led by a pair of Kelin Ainsworth tallies, the Wolves squeaked out a 4-3 win over the previously unbeaten Gryphons. Andrew Wilkins and Mike Hammond also scored for Lakehead, whose record improved to 3-1-0.

Nicholas Trecapelli, Kyle Neuber and Nicklas Huard replied for Guelph (3-1-0).

Lakehead heads home for a pair of games next weekend against the Laurier Golden Hawks.
