Lakers rout North Stars 9-0

The Thunder Bay North Stars skated into Fort Frances on Friday night and promptly got lambasted. Nolan Ross scored twice and added a helper and Dylan Robertson picked up four assists, leading the Lakers to a convincing 9-0 home-ice win.

Dylan Kooner also had a three-point night, collecting a goal and two helpers.

Nathan Park made 26 saves for the shutout.

The Lakers maintained control over top spot in the Superior International Junior Hockey League standings, improving to 27-7-1, while the second-place Stars slipped to 21-14-4.
