The Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s basketball coach rested his starters for much of Saturday night’s OUA finale and not surprisingly settled for a weekend split after a 92-82 loss.

Joseph Nitychoruck led all Lakehead scorers with 18 points, on a night that saw forward Yoosrie Salhia on the sidelines resting for the playoffs.

LU will either play McMaster or the winner of the series between Guelph and Brock.
