Down three points with 96 seconds to go in regulation, the Lakehead Thunderwolves rallied to eke out a 73-70 win Friday night over the host University of Toronto Varsity Blues.

Dwayne Harvey scored on back-to-back jumpers to push the Thunderwolves in front with 36 seconds left, and Henry Tan buried a pair of free throws to put the game on ice.

The Wolves trailed by nine at the half.

Harvey finished the game with 14, two fewer than teammate Mor Menashe, who came off the bench to collect 16 points.

Tan and Bacarius Dinkins also finished in double figures for Lakehead, who won for the fourth straight outing and improved to 9-6. Devin Johnson had a game-high 23 for Toronto (3-11).

Lakehead will take on the much tougher and nationally ranked Ryerson Rams on Saturday night.
