SUDBURY – Krista McCarville’s dominance over Sudbury’s Tracy Fleury continued unabated on Thursday night.

After travel delays forced organizers to rearrange the schedule at the Scotties Northern Ontario Curling Association Provincial, the Thunder Bay skip stole four in the fourth end and cruised to a 7-4 win over the hometown hopeful in Draw 2 at the event that will decide the region’s representative at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Fleury jumped in front with a single in the opening end, but McCarville got it back in the third. They traded points in the next four ends, shaking hands with McCarville in possession of the hammer in the 10th.

McCarville (1-0) takes on Piper Croisier (0-1) on Friday morning in the double round-robin format. Fleury (1-1) will play Croisier in the afternoon draw, with McCarville and Fleury meeting again on Friday night.
