THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn. – The Thunder Bay North Stars are heading back to Fort William Gardens having taken home-ice advantage away from the Thief River Falls Norskies.

Jake Behse and Turner Santin had the lone Game 2 goals on Wednesday night and Brandon Bodnar, who led the Superior International Junior Hockey League with nine shutouts in the regular season, made 22 saves to pace the Stars to the 2-0 victory.

The win evened the best-of-seven series at a game apiece, with Game 3 scheduled for Saturday night at Fort William Gardens.
