For the second straight night, the Thunder Bay North Stars were able to eke out a victory to pick up two points on the road.
Tyler Brower had the overtime winner just more than a minute into the extra frame as the North Stars pulled out a 6-5 win over the Dryden Ice Dogs at the Dryden Memorial Arena on Saturday.
Matthias Gardiman had a pair of second period goals as Thunder Bay was able to come from behind to pick up the win.
Dryden entered the third period with a 4-3 lead by goals from Cary Brown and Daniel Delpaggio put the visitors in front. Nolan Kinney scored for the Ice Dogs with just under four minutes to play to force overtime.
Kenny Turner scored the other goal for Thunder Bay and Delpaggio finished the contest with four points.
Zachary Kercz, Cody Kaus, Chris Varrin and Dane Feeney scored for Dryden.
Thunder Bay had defeated Dryden by a 3-2 score on Friday.
The North Stars (20-6-4) return home with a Tuesday evening date against the Wisconsin Wilderness.
