Wednesday night’s Superior International Junior Hockey League game between the Fort William North Stars and the Wisconsin Wilderness at Fort William Gardens has been postponed.

The game will be rescheduled for a later date, league president Ron Whitehead said in a release.

This is the second time the two teams have been forced to call off a game. Earlier this season the Wilderness bus broke down in Two Harbors, Minn. and the team was unable to make it to Thunder Bay.

SIJHL officials gave no reason for the most recent cancellation, though when contacted Wednesday afternoon, North Stars coach Todd Howarth told Thunder Bay Television more information will be forthcoming on Thursday.

The league resumes play on Thursday when Fort Frances hosts Sioux Lookout.  The Lakers fell 3-1 to Dryden on Tuesday night.
