Nolan Intermoia scored twice and Steven Paterson recorded the shutout as the Thunder Bay Chill continued their winning ways on Saturday, downing the RochesterThunder 2-0.

The win improved the Chill to 2-0 to start the Premier Development League season, good for solo sixth spot in the Heartland Division. However, The Chill are the only remaining undefeated team in the division, though they have at least four games in hand on the other six teams.

Intermoia broke the goose egg in the 47th minute and put the game away in the 65th.

Chill coach Tony Colistro wasn’t pleased with the sluggish start his team got off to on the road, but liked the end result nonetheless.

“Rochester came out hard at first, but we were able to withstand the pressure,” Colistro said. “Rochester is a strong tam and it was an aggressive game, but we came out on top.”
The two teams will meet again on Sunday afternoon.
