A disappointing finish to his round robin ended on a happy note for Kakabeka Falls skip Chris Perozak.

A disappointing finish to his round robin ended on a happy note for Kakabeka Falls skip Chris Perozak.

Perozak’s rink dropped both their games on Saturday to finish 4-3 at the Northern Ontario Bantam Boy’s Curling Championship in Fort Frances, good for a four-way tie for second place.

But Perozak rebounded in an evening tiebreaker, ousting Sudbury’s Max Cull 3-1 to advance to Sunday’s semifinal, where he’ll take on Christopher Silver, who routed Isaiah Warkentin 7-1 in the other tiebreaker.

Awaiting the semifinal winner is Tanner Horgan, who finished a perfect 7-0 and happens to be the reigning Northern Ontario Junior champion.
