PGA Tour of Canada event confirmed for 2014

The PGA Tour of Canada is returning to Thunder Bay in 2014. Officials with the Tour are expected to announced details for the event on Tuesday at a news conference slated for Whitewater Golf Course, where the tournament will be held.

Riley Wheeldon, No. 2 on the PGA Tour of Canada money list this year, is expected to be in attendance at the event kick-off.

The top five money earners on the money list each year earn cards to play on the PGA Tour’s main qualifying circuit, the Web.com Tour, the following season.

Canadian Cory Renfrew, 13th on the money list in 2013, is also expected to be on hand.
