The Thunder Bay Sportop midget AA Queens just keep rolling south of the border.
The Queens won both of their games on Saturday at the 2 Nations Tier 1 Elite Showcase in Exeter, N.H.
Thunder Bay started the day with a 4-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite. The Queens found a goal each from Samantha Strassburger, Jessica Ricklefs, Kaley Tienhaara and Karli Nummikoski while Jayde Turcotte picked up the win in net.
The Queens capped off their successful second day with a decisive 5-0 win over the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals. Sydney Isbell picked up the shutout in between the pipes turning aside 11 shots, while Samantha Isbell tallied a pair of goals. Strassburger, Tienhaara and Paige Sullivan each added a marker of their own.
This runs the Queens' record to 4-0-0 at the tournament, and they will close out their weekend schedule with an 8 a.m. affair against Michigan's Team Detroit.
