According to the New York Post, the New York Rangers have placed struggling forward Taylor Pyatt on waivers.
The Thunder Bay native has been a healthy scratch of late, managing just one assist in 22 contests. In his 13-year NHL career, Pyatt has 136 goals and 140 assists in 825 games, split between the New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Cancuks, Phoenix Coyotes and the Rangers, who he joined in 2012-13.
