The nation’s capital wasn’t a welcoming spot for the Lakehead Thunderwolves hockey team.

The Wolves surrendered a pair of goals in all three periods Friday night, falling 6-2 on the road to the Carleton Ravens, Lakehead’s second straight OUA loss.

Mike Hammond and Riley McIntosh were the only Thunderwolves to find the back of the Ravens net. All six Carleton goals came against Alex Dupuis.

Ryan Berard and Jeff Hayes had two goals apiece for Carleton, while Mitch Porowski had a goal and three assists.
Half the Ravens goals came on the power play.
