THUNDER BAY, ON, JULY 1, 2016- The RBC Executive Women’s Day presented by Pandora is back for another year at the Staal Foundation Open presented by Tbaytel on Wednesday, July 13th at Whitewater Golf Club.
The day will include networking, inspirational speakers, gourmet lunch, great entertainment and a special gift from Pandora Intercity.
Executive Women’s Day is an important part of PGA TOUR events as a forum for local business leaders and innovators to dialogue, share ideas and network. It is a significant event at the Staal Foundation Open supporting the tournament’s fundraising efforts, which donates 100 per cent of its proceeds to local charities. In 2015 the RBC Executive Day presented by Pandora raised over $15,000 for families with children battling cancer.
The event is a day for women from all walks of life to get together and enhance their careers and personal well-being and take in a day out at the tournament.
This year’s speakers include Hon. Patty Hajdu, federal Minister of Status of Women, and RBC Olympian and curling gold medalist Jill Officer, who will share their inspirational stories of success.
“The RBC Executive Women’s Day presented by Pandora is a day for all women in Thunder Bay to get inspired by amazing women who have achieved greatness in sports and politics but also be inspired by each other through dialogue and networking;” says RBC Executive Women’s Day co chair Jodey Burnell. “It’s an empowering, fun-filled day that we hope will have a long lasting impact on the women in Thunder Bay and thanks to the money raised, we will also have a lasting impact on families dealing with cancer in our community.”
The interactive day also features demonstrational clinics by Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada Professionals and a Power Golf and Trick Show by Brett Cleverdon.
