Former Thunder Bay Chill defender Axel Sjoberg has a new home.
The Swedish import, who spent several years with the Premier Development League team, was selected 14th overall Thursday by the Colorado Rapids in the Major League Soccer Super Draft.
The Rapids acquired the pick in a deal with Columbus.
Sjoberg spent last season at Marquette University and becomes the highest-drafted former Chill player yet.
