The sixth-ranked squad ran the Wolves ragged at the Thunderdome on Saturday night and pulled away in the fourth, scoring 24 points to earn a 77-65 win.

Anthony McIntosh led the way for LU (2-6) with 15 points. Dwayne Harvey had 10 and rookie Brent Wallace dropped a career-high eight.
Jahmal Jones had 21 for Ryerson, who improved to 7-1.

"I thought we battled against a very good team tonight. Ryerson made plays down the stretch and essentially that was the difference. We're improving, buying in and sticking to the game plan more and more each week."

Lakehead travels to Windsor next weekend to wrap up the first half of the OUA men’s basketball calendar.
