The Duluth Clydesdales scored first and they scored last.

It was the six goals they allowed in between that proved to be their downfall on Friday night. The Thunder Bay North Stars rolled off six straight from six different shooters, scoring a relatively easy 6-2 home-ice win at Fort William Gardens.

Kyle Breukelman, Matt Kaarela, Bradley Cox, Sam Dubinsky, Marshall Fox and Travis Tilley replied for the Stars, while Cody Stettin and Hunter Scott, who each added helpers on the other one's goals, were the Duluth goal scorers.

Thunder Bay improved to 14-8-5.

Elswhere, at Sioux Lookout, the host Flyers got a pair from Dane Morin and went on to double the Fort Frances Lakers  6-3.
At Dryden, Tyson Holder had a hat trick as the Ice Dogs took out expansion Iron Range 8-4.
