A trio of Thunder Bay Border Cats, including homegrown Carter McEachern, will represent the team at next week’s Northwoods League all-star game.

Outfielder Jared James, the second leading hitter in the college summer league circuit with a .373 batting average and pitcher Greg Weissert also made the North Division cut.

McEachern, in his third season in Thunder Bay, is sixth in the NWL in hitting at .331, with four doubles, a triple and homerun.
The game will be played on July 21 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc.
