Matthew Murray is one step closer to realizing his NHL dream. The Pittsburgh Penguins prospect on Wednesday signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the perennial Stanley Cup favourites.

The Pittsburgh Penguins prospect on Wednesday signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the perennial Stanley Cup favourites.

Murray was the 83rd pick in the 2012 NHL draft and spent the past three seasons with the OHL’s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, where he posted 26 wins and a 3.67 goals against average in 53 games last season.
