The team dropped one spot in the standings on Sunday when the Windsor Lancers rallied in the third to beat the Waterloo Warriors 3-2.

The result means the Wolves will open the hockey postseason on the road against the Warriors, a team they beat twice in three meetings over the past two weekends.

The Thunderwolves will return home Friday night for Game 2 of the series at Fort William Gardens. Game 3, if necessary, will be played Saturday night.

Other first-round match-ups include No. 1 Western taking on No. 8 UOIT, No. 2 Windsor playing No. 7 No. 5 York tangling with No. 4 Guelph.
