THUNDER BAY -- Billy Jenkins doesn’t have to worry about whether or not he’s on Santa’s naughty list.
He’s not.
The Lakehead Thunderwolves rookie forward was squeaky clean on the ice this past season, earlier this week earning the OUA West’s most sportsmanlike player of the year award.
Jenkins, also named to the OUA West all-freshman squad, was not assessed a single penalty during the 2015-16 campaign, a feat last accomplished at Lakehead by star forward Joel Scherban in 2004-05.
The Ottawa native led the Wolves with 11 goals and 13 assists.
