The Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s basketball team took a giant leap Friday toward securing yet another OUA playoff berth.

The Lakehead Thunderwolves men’s basketball team took a giant leap Friday toward securing yet another OUA playoff berth.

Henry Tan scored 23 points, leading fifth-place LU to a 78-68 win over seventh-place Brock, opening a six-point gap between to the two teams with just seven games left on the regular-season schedule.

The top six teams make the post-season.

Joey Nitychoruk had 14 points and seven rebounds coming off the bench for Lakehead (5-10), while Igor Lebov grabbed 17 boards.

Tshing Kasamba had 21 to lead the Badgers (2-13).
