The Churchill Trojans are varsity boys basketball champions.

The Churchill Trojans are varsity boys basketball champions.

Justin Fui scored 22 points and Jordan Kelly added 21 on Tuesday, leading the Trojans to a 95-55 thumping of the Westgate Tigers in the Superior Secondary Schools Athletic Association final.

Peter Black led the way for the Tigers with 17.

The Trojans finished the year with an 11-2mark.

It was the Trojans second straight title. Churchill also won the season-ending game last season, but it was not officially recognized as a championship after most of the season was wiped about by an ongoing labour dispute.

In the varsity girls volleyball championship, the St. Ignatius Falcons made easy work of the St. Patrick Saints, sweeping them 25-10, 25-9 and 25-4 to take home the title, their fourth in a row.
