KING CITY, Ont. -- Ultimate Gymnastics competitive squad converged on the town of King City, Ontario this past weekend returning home with strong showings from both their Provincial and Invitational athletes.
The club sent Olivia Arena, Christiana Collinns, Caroline Di Felice, Tiana Lombardo, Sarah McChristie, Tiara Sutton and Emily Ukrainec to compete in the provincial qualifier, while Isla Caldbick, Audrey Maxwell, Brynlee Pitre, Lierra Quequish, Alexa Timms and Sophie Voda took to the mats on the invitational side of the Marilyn Hayes Qualifying Invitational hosted by the Shenderey Gymnastics Institute.
All in all, the thirteen athletes combined to make more than 57 trips to the podium over the course of the weekend, including a 4-gold medal performance from Audrey Maxwell, with Emily Ukrainec brining home gold on floor alongside silver for vault.
Also bringing home medals were Christiana Collinns, Lierra Quequish, Alexa Timms and Sophie Voda.
The provincial team heads to Montreal this coming weekend for the 2018 International Gymnix.
